help please?

symptoms of hemroids
sefhoward asked:

I tried so hard to get preg. and know I am 8 weeks and misserable. I have every symptom and feel like I am going to die. I have a 5 year old already and feel like I’m not giving her the attention she needs especially when my husband works and it’s just me and her. I am so sick I can’t move from the couch. Can anyone think of anything that could help me? The only symptom I don’t have is hemroids so I need help dealing with all the others. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I know just how you feel. I feel sick in the morning and late afternoons. I try to eat a small meal or something to help with the mornig sickness. I know I have to get up because I have other children to take care of. You should just fight thru the sickness and do what you need to do.
    Good Luck and Congrats.
I am also about 8 weeks.
    When is your due date?

If you are that ill the doctor should be able to give you a prescription for the nausea. Give em a call

Try ginger for the sickness, but the rest, I think that only rest can help.
Are you taking your prenatal vitamins?
If you are this bad, you need to get to your doctors and tell him what’s happening, see what he suggests.

Unfortunately you’re going to have to wait it out. Your doctor can prescribe something for nausea but it will make you sleepy. I too have other children and what I did during that stage was I set up “camp” in the living room on the couch and brought an ice chest with snacks and drinks and whatever we’d need and we watched movies or played cards or baby’s or whatever they wanted, but that allowed me to opportunity to spend time with them and not have to run all over the place trying to tend to everything. You just need to rest and you’ll feel better soon. Try warm coke for your stomach and headaches if you have them, I dont know why it works but it does, also hard ginger candies help a lot too. Good luck and I feel for you!

When I was pregnant, I suffered with all-day sickness (not just mornings lol). My doctor told me I could take Emetrol, which is an over-the-counter anti-nausea medicine. It tastes like cherry syrup. Check with your OBGYN to see if it’s safe for you. If it is, you’ll feel SO much better. It really takes away the nausea and is safer for the baby than prescription meds.

Also, eat several small meals in a day instead of two or three larger ones. That also helps a lot with the nausea and the indigestion.

you should probably talk to a doctor and ask if they can give you something to help.
Maybe you should try eating a little something. maybe whenever your feeling well enough, play something quiet with your daughter like play Barbies or read to her and encourage her to read to you if she knows how yet.

    Good luck and congratulations,
    Cayleen

First off you feeling guilty about how you feel isnt going to help you out, its only going to make you sicker. Why don’t you have someone babysit one day so you can have a day for yourself. Maybe go out with the girls. Get your hair done. Just get out the house even if you dont feel like it. Chances are staying home is making you feel worse. I know thats the way i felt. Then when your daughter is returned to you maybe you will relaxed enough to spend some time with her. You can make it a day with her. Pop in her favorite movie and order in some pizza. Cuddle with her on the couch. Maybe color a coloring book with her. Make sure your taking vitamins and drinking alot of water. Good luck and congrats!

Let me guess you are tired and nauseated. For your fatigue, go to sleep when you 5 year old naps in the day. Take your prenatal vitamins and if those make you ill, try taking two Flintstones every day they work just as well. The nausea in the am, try crackers at the bedside in the morning. Look into preggie pops. Try to eat small frequent meals of bland nature nothing too spicy or rich. Most of the wretched symptoms are due to the amount of growth hormone that your baby is putting off will begin to resolve in your 12 week of pregnancy, but may return in your last trimester due to rapid fetal growth. So enjoy your 2nd trimester!

aww, you sound exactly like I was. So excited to get pregnant, and then just absolutely miserable and dying. I thought I was going to die too. My husband works out of town for weeks at a time and I have 3 boys to take care of and I couldnt hardly get out of bed…Call the doctor and tell them, and they can give you a prescription to help you out. I had to do that, because absolutley Nothing at all helped. Even the prescription wasnt that great. I was sick up until I was 20 weeks. I totally sympathize with you. I hope things will work out for you adn you will feel better soon.
( these didnt help with my 4th pregnancy, but they did great with my 3rd. Maybe they will help you out some. Or try sea bands. You can get them at any drug store. ) I even tried Emetrol..which didnt work for me, but maybe it coudl for you.

I know just how you feel, poor you! I went to my doctors and cried and wailed like a baby and he prescribed me some tablets that got rid of the sickness completely. He didnt give in lightly though, I had to beg him to give me something.

Moxolon medicine or tablets are meant to help too. If you dont want medical intervention then plenty of rest is all you can do. Ginger, peppermint, dry crackers etc were all rubbish and didnt help me one little bit.

Good luck and remember, if you are going to try and get a prescription, lay it on thick!!!!

I was soooooo sick with my first so the doctor gave me some nausia meds. Its the same pill they give chemo patience when they get sick to their stomach. Cant remember the name of it but I know that is was expensive. It was the only thing that worked for me. i tried everything. Ask your doctor and he will help you! Take care.
